5-point Assurance of Quality

To assure quality on our tours we have developed our “5-point Assurance of Quality” which will be a part of every tour we make. All Signature Tours feature:

Information:

A custom “Discovery Tour Guide” for each traveler, outlining each day’s activity, including the history, geography and interesting facts about each area we visit. These printed guides were very popular last year and we have improved them to included a daily map showing the traveler where and approximately when each day’s stops will be. Your Tour Host and step-on guides along the way will also add to your learning experience.

Relaxed Comfortable Schedules:

Traveling is always tiring, but we try to make it more comfortable by scheduling our tours at a gentle, more relaxed pace. You will always start eating lunch between 11:00 am – 1:00 pm and dinner between 5:00 – 7:00 pm. Our departure time on transit days are between 8:00 – 9:00 am and our goal is to have you feed and in your room by 7:30 pm. On evening where you are going to an evening activity such as a play or dinner theater, our goal is to have you in your hotel room by 4:30 pm.

Meals:

Breakfast is included EVERY DAY*. We use Deluxe Continental Breakfast when available, and on occasions a full breakfast. Most will be at our hotel. Most dinners and some lunches will also be included. We have found that our travelers like the convenience and peace of mind of not having to worry about where they will eat. Some meals we designate as “Special Meals” which are unique to the area you are visiting. Other meals we designate as “Necessary Meals” which may be at a nationally franchised buffet or restaurant. These meals help improve the comfort and smooth flow of your tour. We also provide snacks, bottled water, and soft drinks at rest stops. *on rare occasions it is to our travelers advantage to allow breakfast on their own. These times will be explained in the tour flier.

Comfortable Lodging:

Carefully selected clean hotel properties with interior corridors, elevators, and breakfast. On the rare occasion we must use an exterior entrance hotel, or where an elevator is not available, such as National Parks or historic resorts, we will explain the reason in your tour guide.

Modern Transportation:

Discovery Tours uses the clean, comfortable late model motorcoaches of Daniel’s Charter.
