About Us

Bobby & SusanDiscovery Tours was founded in 1999 by Bobby and Susan Watson in Anderson, SC as Bobby's Discovery Tours. Bobby conducted his first tour with the senior adults in 1977 while serving as Minister of Music at Orrville Baptist in Anderson. During his 27 years as a Minister of Music in Baptist churches he regularly conducted senior adult and choir tours throughout the United States.

Bobby and Susan started touring full time in 2000. Discovery Tours has conducted hundreds of tours since its founding in 1999, and Bobby has personally conducted over 130 of those tours.

In January 2006, Bobby and Susan returned to their hometown of Demorest, GA. In 2007 Bobby's Discovery Tours joined with Daniel's Charters and Tours to form Daniel's Discovery Tours.

At Daniel's Charter's and Daniel's Discovery Tours we committed to providing quality, professional tours that do not lose the "personal touch." A Discovery tour always features quality lodging; Daniel's Charter motorcoach transportation in one of our late model, comfortably equipped motorcoaches; and most meals, all offered at a fair and competitive price.
